Live audience for Miss Universe PH 2021 coronation night to be limited

TAGBILARAN CITY —The grand coronation night of the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 in Panglao, Bohol on Thursday, September 30, will have a limited live audience, the Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) Organization announced Tuesday.

In an Instagram post, MUP said the live pageant on Sept. 30 will only accommodate 100 live audiences.

The 100 “gold” tickets cost P10,000 each.

Interested guests who will be part of the live audience must be fully vaccinated and present a negative swab test results.

The coronation night will be exclusively live-streamed by ABS-CBN through KTX.ph on Sept. 30 with a delayed telecast on GMA Network on Oct. 3.

There are 28 candidates who will vie for the crown.

KC Montero will return as host, while Michael Pangilinan will serenade the finalists in this year’s final evening gown competition.

Sam Concepcion will be singing another Miss Universe Philippines original song as the finalists will sashay in their swimsuits.

The country’s COVID-19 task force has placed Bohol under general community quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions from September 24 to 30, 2021.
