JAMES Bacon of the ALA Gym won by unanimous decision against Godwin Tubigon in the main event of a fight card held in Panglao Island, Bohol last Saturday.
The win improved Bacon’s fight record to 20W-3L, 13 KOs and compensated for his upset TKO loss to Richard Olisa last November in Zamboanga.
Tubigon dropped to 7W-5L-1D, 3 KOs.
In the undercard matches, Ricky Sismundo beat Fernando Otic by unanimous decision; Zaldy Aroa won by majority decision against Lubert Bayo; Ralph Lulu beat Rocky Sismundo by TKO in the 4th round; Reymond Tabugon won by split decision against Sherwin Paro and the bout between Jeffrey Segara and Gabby Simpo ended in a technical draw./Correspondent Rene Bonsubre Jr.
