Typhoon Mindulle to bring rain in Metro Manila

The trough or extension of Typhoon “Mindulle,” along with localized thunderstorms, will bring rain showers in Metro Manila and the rest of the country on Wednesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. In its weather bulletin on Tuesday afternoon, Pagasa said the trough of the typhoon, which remained over the Philippine Sea, would mostly affect the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas. Pagasa weather specialist Joey Figuracion said Mindulle was expected to only graze the edge of the country’s area of responsibility on Wednesday. It is not expected to linger within the Philippine territory. As of Tuesday afternoon, its center was located 1,420 kilometers east of Itabayat, Batanes province. It packed winds of up to 165 km per hour and gusts of up to 205 kph.
