35% of eligible population in Zambales now vaccinated vs COVID-19

35% of eligible population in Zambales now vaccinated vs COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Some 143,849 or around 35 percent of the total eligible residents of this province were already vaccinated against COVID-19, the provincial health office reported Tuesday.

Data showed that 143,849 of the 413, 000 target vaccine recipients received either Astrazeneca, Sinovac, Moderna, Sinopharm, or Janssen shots.

Fully vaccinated residents are now at 65,940, including those who received the single-dose Janssen, data further showed.

The vaccine recipients belong to the priority sectors A1 to A5 (health workers, senior citizens, those with comorbidities, essential workers, and indigents), it added.
