LEGAZPI CITY – Anti-narcotics operatives arrested on Monday afternoon five drug suspects in separate drug stings in Albay and Camarines Sur, a police report said Tuesday.

The drug busts yielded several sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) according to Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.

In Naga City, Gary De Lima, 30, and Marvin Moreno, 27, both residents of Barangay (village) Mabolo and considered by police as high-value targets (HVT), were caught selling shabu at around 1:00 p.m. in their village.

Several hours later, police operatives nabbed Allan Lanuzga, 46, number eight HVT in the city, while selling a sachet of shabu to an undercover agent in a drug operation at the Olaño compound in Barangay Abella at around 7:50 p.m.

In Tabaco City, Albay, Lionel Colina, aka Linard Ciruales, 34 and resident of Barangay Mariroc, was arrested in a drug operation in Baranagay Basud, at around 4:30 p.m.

In Polangui town, also in Albay, police operatives collared John Lloyd Alpapara, 20, resident of Barangay Sugcad, for possession of two sachets of shabu at around 7:10 p.m in the same village.

Calubaquib said all the arrested suspects were taken to the police custodial facility while waiting for the filing of a formal complaint for possession and selling of illegal drugs under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
