TAGBILARAN CITY — A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck Bohol province at around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The tremor, which was tectonic in origin, has a depth of one kilometer.
The epicenter was traced to west of Catigbian town.
Phivolcs said it did not expect any damage or aftershock.
