Drug suspect busted in Legazpi City, over P600K shabu seized

California police arrest two suspected of fatally shooting 6-year-old

LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested a high-value target and seized an estimated P680,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in this city on Tuesday afternoon.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Bicol said in a report that Roque Bornilla, 38, a resident of Barangay San Lorenzo in Tabaco City, Albay, was arrested in Barangay Puro in Legazpi City at around 5:15 p.m.

Authorities recovered 100 grams of shabu from Bornilla, the report said.

He will be facing  formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
