Most wanted fugitive in Zambales nabbed
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales, Philippines — A man tagged as the most wanted person in this province has been arrested in Castillejos town in this province, the police said on Tuesday.
Col. Romano Cardiño, chief of the Zambales Police Provincial Office, identified the suspect as Jimmy Aglibot (not related to the writer), 55, who was tracked down in Barangay San Pablo at around 5 p.m. on Monday.
According to Cardiño, the suspect belongs to the Ramat drug group and has been listed as a high-value target.
Police said they launched a manhunt operation after receiving information that the suspect was in his hideout.
On Aug. 23, Aglibot eluded arrest during a buy-bust operation. He is now under the temporary custody of the Castillejos police.
