ITCZ to bring rain, thunderstorms over Mimaropa, W. Visayas, Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines — The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will continue to bring rain and cloudy skies over the majority of the country particularly Mimaropa, Western Visayas, and the entire Mindanao on Wednesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

(The rest of Luzon will have generally fair weather, including Metro Manila; only isolated rain is expected during the afternoon until evening.)

On the other hand, only isolated thunderstorms are forecast in the Central and Eastern Visayas, while higher chances of scattered rain and thunderstorm formations are expected in Western Visayas and the entire Mindanao.
