SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––The Subic town government in this province has started allowing “walk-ins” at its main vaccination site to encourage more residents to get jabbed against COVID-19.
In an advisory Tuesday, Sept. 21, the municipal health office said eligible residents under the A1 to A5 categories would be accommodated at the Subic Municipal Gymnasium, as it targets to inoculate 400 people that day.
A1 to A5 refer to healthcare workers, senior citizens, residents with comorbidities, essential workers, and indigents.
According to the MHO, pregnant women and senior citizens would have a priority lane.
It said the move was meant to achieve the target herd immunity against the viral disease.
On Sept. 18, the MHO also held a mass vaccination for teachers and schools in the town.
