LUCENA CITY – Police arrested an armed drug suspect in Taytay, Rizal early Tuesday.
The Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police, in a report, said anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Jordan Zolita after he sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer in Barangay San Juan around 12:05 a.m.
Authorities seized five sachets of shabu worth an estimated P18,000.
Police also recovered an unlicensed and loaded caliber .45 pistol from Zolita.
The suspect is facing formal complaints for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and illegal possession of a firearm.
