4 drug suspects nabbed in separate ops in Bicol

LEGAZPI CITY – Police arrested four suspected drug personalities and seized P9,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in Bicol provinces on Monday, report said Tuesday.

Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said Jesus Morado, 41, described in the report as a job order employee of Naga City government in Camarines Sur, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Concepcion Pequeña at around 7:10 p.m. The report did not specifty the kind of work he does at the Naga City Hall.

Morado sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to an undercover agent.

Police also found two grams more of suspected shabu worth P13,600 in his possession during the subsequent search.

In Paracale town in Camarines Norte, Jonel Austria, 24, was arrested in a separate operation in Barangay Bagumbayan at around 5:40 p.m.

Authorities recovered five sachets of shabu worth P1,000 from him.

In Albay, Renz Marion Guades was also arrested in Barangay Peñaranda in Legazpi City at around 3:50 p.m.

Seized from Guades was a sachet of shabu worth P6,500.

Guades was included in the illegal drugs watch list.

In Barangay San Roque in Tabaco City, Dennis Bonaobra, 38, was also arrested at around 2:32 p.m.

A sachet of shabu worth P1,000 was also confiscated from Bonaobra.
