MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to conduct reblocking and repair works on portions of Edsa, the C-5 Road, and España Boulevard over the weekend.
In a traffic advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the DPWH road repairs will start on Friday, Sept. 17, at 11 p.m. and will finish on Sept. 20.
The reblocking will cover areas along Edsa Caloocan southbound after Biglang Awa St. and in front of Mariano St. (4th lane from the sidewalk), C-5 Road northbound before Mckinley, and España Boulevard from Extremadura Street to M. Dela Fuente Street.
The MMDA has advised motorists to avoid the affected areas and use alternate routes.
According to the MMDA, the affected roads will be fully passable to vehicles by 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 20.
