Drug group member nabbed in Camarines Norte buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY––An alleged member of a drug group in Jose Panganiban town in Camarines Norte province was arrested Tuesday night in a buy-bust, a police report said Wednesday.

Major Melvin Atacador, police chief of Jose Panganiban, said in a report that Van Valenzuela, 45, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Parang at 9:30 p.m.

Seized were 23 sachets of shabu (crystal meth) worth P45,000.

Valenzuela was on the illegal drugs watch list in the Bicol region and tagged as a member of the “Rey Gutierrez Drug Group” operating in the province.
