3 infants, 3 toddlers among 127 new COVID-19 cases in Tarlac

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Three infants and three toddlers are among the 127 new COVID-19 cases in Tarlac, the provincial government said on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

The infants, all with mild symptoms, are a 3-month-old boy from La Paz town, is confined in a hospital; an 8-month-old girl from Tarlac City now under quarantine, and a 1-year-old girl from Gerona town, and is also quarantined.

The provincial government also said the three infected toddlers, aged 2, from Tarlac City with mild symptoms, were under quarantine.

Three more children, aged 7-12, from Tarlac City and Paniqui town have also contracted COVID-19, it said.

The province recorded 139 recoveries and zero deaths on Tuesday. Its active cases stood at 2,316.

Tarlac City has the most active cases in the province at 852, followed by Capas with 185 and Gerona with 163.

It registered 14,078 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 11,283 have recovered, while 479 have died.
