ORMOC CITY—The body of a man believed to be one of the reported missing fishermen during the onslaught of Typhoon “Jolina” last week was found Monday during a community activity by the local police along the shoreline in Barangay Malaga, Tinambacan District, Calbayog City in Samar.

Lt. Col Bella Rentuaya, Eastern Visayas police spokesperson, said a report from the Police Community Precinct in Tinambacan stated that police force multipliers found the body.

Authorities found the body lying on its back at the rocky portion at the shoreline and was already in an advanced state of decomposition.

The body was brought to a local funeral parlor for post mortem examination.
