BACOLOD CITY––Two officers of the Negros Occidental Provincial Human Resource Management Office (PHRMO) have been issued show-cause orders for allegedly changing the appointee approved by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said Felomina Gozon, PHRMO officer-in-charge; and Daidie Lopez were ordered to explain what happened.
Diaz said that on Sept. 2, the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board and Lacson agreed on the appointment of Ma. Robel Asuncion Lirazan to Nursing Attendant II at the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City.
However, the minutes of the selection board meeting submitted by Lopez and Gozon stated that Ma. Victoria Seresola, and not Lirazan, was appointed to the position of Nursing Attendant II.
Diaz said an unauthorized alteration of the minutes of the selection board meeting was made.
“They were given five days from receipt of the show-cause order to explain why no criminal, civil, and administrative cases should be filed against them,” Diaz said.
