MANILA, Philippines — Oil companies raised pump prices for the third week straight, this time by 35 centavos per liter of diesel and 40 centavos per liter of gasoline amid tight crude oil supply.
Caltex increased prices at 12:01 a.m. while Petron, Shell, Seaoil, PTT, Total and Phoenix followed at 6 a.m.
Petron, Shell, Caltex and Seaoil also raised prices of kerosene by 15 centavos per liter.
The Asian benchmark Dubai crude was at $69.63 per barrel as of Sept. 9, higher than $69.48 per barrel a week earlier.
