2 alleged drug pushers nabbed in Marinduque town

CITY OF CALAPAN—Police arrested two alleged drug pushers on Saturday afternoon in a buy-bust operation in Boac town in Marinduque province, a report said.

Police arrested Marlon Gonzalez, 46, and Michael Rotulo, 41, at 1:30 p.m. after selling two sachets of suspected shabu methamphetamine) weighing about 10 grams to a poseur buyer for P40,000 in Barangay (village) Maligaya.

Also seized from the suspects were P14,000 in marked money, two cellphones, and a motorcyle, Police Col. Wilson Santos, Marinduque police chief, said in a phone interview.

Suspects are under police custody and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
