63 more COVID-19 cases tallied in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — At least 63 more COVID-19 cases were logged in this province on Thursday (Sept. 9), raising its total number of cases to 6,842 since pandemic started last year.

Latest data from the provincial health office showed that the province’s active cases slightly decreased from 931 to 925 as 69 more patients have recovered from the disease.

The total number of patients who recovered from the viral disease in the province also rose to 6,000, reflecting an 87.6-percent recovery rate.

No new fatalities were listed on Thursday, which kept the province’s death toll at 217.
