Cold front to bring rain to parts of Luzon, Visayas—Pagasa

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – Parts of Luzon and Visayas will experience rains as a tail-end of a cold front affects Northern and Central Luzon., the state-run weather bureau said.

Luzon and Eastern Visayas will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespead rains over Northern Luzon which may trigger flashfloods and landslides, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Meanwhile, the rest country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains and thunderstorms, the state-run weather system said.

“Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast and East will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the East over Southern Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be moderate coming from the East with moderate seas,” Pagasa said.
