2 motorcycle riders dead in hit-and-run in Quezon

LUCENA CITY––Two motorcycle riders died in a hit-and-run incident Thursday night along the Maharlika Highway in Atimonan town in Quezon province.

A Quezon police report said motorcycle driver Orlan Razo, 38, and his pillion rider, Efren Permona Razo, 66, were traversing the highway when a galvanized Elf closed van hit them at 6:50 p.m. in Barangay Tagbakin.

The riders suffered grave injuries and died on the spot.

The van driver sped off after the incident, the report said. INQ
