LEGAZPI CITY — Four drug suspects were arrested in separate police operations in Bicol provinces from Wednesday night until early Thursday.
In Catanduanes, a notorious illegal drug suspect was nabbed with P102,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a sting operation on Thursday morning, September 9, in a village in San Andres town.
Policemen armed with a search warrant arrested Godofredo Bagadiong, a high-value target (HVT) illegal drug suspect collared at around 5 a.m. after a raiding team recovered in his house in the village of Lictin six plastic sachets of shabu weighing 15 grams, according to Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Police Bicol spokesperson, in a report.
The report said the suspect earlier surrendered to police but when released, continued with his illegal drug peddling activities.
Bagadiong did not resist arrest and is now held at the local police detention facility.
In Albay, alleged drug pusher Ariel Reyes, 19, was arrested in Barangay Tandarora in Guinobatan town at around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, in possession of a knot-tied transparent sachet of suspected shabu.
A few minutes later in Bulan town in Sorsogon, Warren Masbate, 41, who was included in the illegal drugs watch list of the police, was also arrested in Barangay Zone 6 at around 6:05 p.m. with about half a gram of shabu worth P3,400.
In the capital town of Daet in Camarines Norte, police nabbed Helender Uy Wang, 39, with some P4,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Lag-on at around 7:50 p.m. of September 8.
