Cops arrest alleged drug pusher in Oriental Mindoro town
CITY OF CALAPAN — Police arrested on Wednesday an alleged drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Baco town province in Oriental Mindoro, according to Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) police.
Police arrested Ferdinand Florendo, 40, a farmer, in an entrapment operation around 1 p.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer for P500 in Barangay (village) Katwiran.
Also seized from the suspect were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 0.78 grams and valued at P5,304, and a caliber .38 revolver with five pieces of cartridges.
The suspect is under police custody and will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.
