Traya-Besinga bout headlines ALA-Summit boxing tonight

ELENO Traya of Cabancalan, Mandaue City will face University of the Visayas’ (UV) Melvin Besinga in the 62-kilogram bout of the ALA-Summit Natural Drinking Water Fight Night Amateur Boxing Series tonight at the Gaisano Country Mall car park.

Adding the action to the fight card will be the fight between Marlon Alihis of Sanai Boxing Club against Mardie Muana of Cabancalan, Mandaue City in the 56kg division.

Rolando Lingaw-lingaw of Bukidnon takes on Patrick Gullane of Sanai Boxing Club also in the 56kg division.

Mandaue’s Cherwellan Cantel and UV’s Wendell Acharon will clash in the 54kg division.

Dominiciano Millanes of Lahug, Cebu City will fight Talamban’s Tiboy Ardiente under the 54kg division.

Another boxer from Mandaue, Ritchie Montealto, will face Talamban’s Kevin Jake Cataraja in the 52kg division.

ALA stalwart Genesis Servania’s younger brother Rolan will try to follow his brother’s footsteps as he will face Mabolo’s Christian Bacolod in the 50kg division.

Clinto Moya of Sanai BC and Rie Nuñez of UV, meanwhile, will provide action in the 50kg division.  Another boxer from UV, Bryan Remedio, will step inside the ring to face Polid Banal of Mandaue in the 47kg division.

Other bouts include Bryan Paden of Opao, Mandaue City facing Jeorge Ledesma of Philippine Australian Boxing Club (37kg division), and Rey Sanchez of Mandaue taking on Joshue Formentera of Banilad (37kg division).  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
