P170k worth of shabu seized in Camarines Sur buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY––A P170,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) was seized Tuesday by anti-narcotics police operatives from an alleged illegal drug pusher in a sting in Bato town in Camarines Sur province, a police report said Wednesday.
Romnick Tanay, 26, resident of Barangay Tres Reyes, was caught selling shabu to an undercover agent in Zone 8, San Vicente village at 11:45 a.m., according to Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.
The suspect did not resist arrest and during a search, yielded a sachet of shabu weighing 25 grams, the report said.
Tanay is under police custody and faces charges of possession and selling of illegal drugs under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
