P3.4M worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Dasmariñas City; 3 suspects arrested

 MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized 500 grams of suspected “shabu” or crystal meth and arrested three suspects Monday in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

PDEA identified the arrested suspects as Jean Llianes, 36; Devielyn Gammad, 32, both residents of Dasmariñas Cavite; and Lourdes Enriquez, 28, a resident of Manila.

According to PDEA, the buy-bust operation was conducted by its Cavite Provincial Office in cooperation with the Dasmariñas City Police Station, at around 3:00 p.m. at a parking lot of a mall in the city on Monday.

PDEA confiscated 500 grams of suspected “shabu” worth P3.4 million, along with a P1,000 bill tagged as boodle money, a cell phone, and an ID.

The three suspects will face charges for violating Sections 5 or Sale of Illegal Drugs and Section 26B or Attempt or Conspiracy of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
