LIGAO CITY—Albay Third District Rep. Fernando Cabredo announced via social media that he is now in isolation at a private hospital in Legazpi City after he tested positive for COVID-19.

Cabredo disclosed Tuesday on his Facebook page that his reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction test came back positive.

He said he announced the result to make his constituents aware and for easy contact tracing of those he had encountered.
