15 more Central Luzon cops infected with COVID-19
OLONGAPO CITY–At least 15 more COVID-19 cases were recorded among the workforce of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Monday (Aug. 30), local data showed.
According to the health service of the PRO3, the latest infections raised to 133 its active cases in the entire Central Luzon. It was among the highest numbers of active COVID-19 cases recorded among its personnel since the pandemic struck last year.
So far, the PRO3 has already recorded 2,286 COVID-19 cases but 2,148 of these have already been cleared of the viral disease, including the 11 recoveries on Monday. It reflected a 93-percent recovery rate.
The COVID-19 death toll of PRO3 remained at five with no additional fatalities in recent weeks. INQ
