MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies and isolated rain showers are expected over most parts of the country due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported on Monday.
“Ito pong ITCZ, malaki ang tsansa na mag-prevail pa rin o maging dominant weather system sa’tin at least in the next two to three days,” Pagasa weather specialist Loriedin De La Cruz said in Pagasa’s 4 a.m. weather forecast.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon (Cavite Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon), Mimaropa (Mindoro Provinces, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan), Bicol, Pangasina, the Visayas and Mindanao.
Coastal waters will be slight to moderate (0.6 to 2.1 meters).

Metro Manila – 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
Baguio – 16 to 24 degrees Celsius
Cebu – 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
Davao – 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
