Rain showers, cloudy skies nationwide due to easterlies, ITCZ — Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — The easterlies and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will trigger rain showers over most parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Sunday.
(The clouds that we see on the satellite image are caused by two weather systems that continue to prevail in the country.)
The easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley and Aurora.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan), Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao can expect the same weather condition due to the ITCZ.

(No gale warning is in effect, fisherfolk can venture out to sea, even those with small vessels.)
