GUIGUINTO, Bulacan- Tabang bridge, located in this town that directly connects the North Luzon Expressway to Manila North Road/the MacArthur Highway and the Cagayan Valley Road, will be reopened  next week after eight months.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) First District Engineering Office Chief Henry Alcantara assured the public a newly-widened Tabang bridge will be opened next week.

The project, which began last January, was targeted for completion last month but was delayed by quarantine restrictions.

Guiguinto Mayor Ambrosio Cruz Jr., president of Bulacan Mayor’s League, said he is meeting with Alcantara to discuss a stricter implementation of RA 8794 to help protect the newly constructed bridge from overloaded trucks.
