Total vaccines administered in PH now at 31,433,450 – Galvez
MANILA, Philippines — The total number of COVID-19 vaccines that the national government administered has reached 31,433,450 doses since the vaccination drive started on March 1, Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., the nation’s vaccine manager, said on Thursday during another taped briefing with President Rodrigo Duterte.
According to Galvez, 18,061,716 individuals have already had their first dose and 13,371,734 their second dose as of Aug. 25.
Meanwhile, the national government has averaged 438,136 vaccine jabs per day in August, Galvez said.
The total number of vaccinated Filipinos, on the other hand, has now reached 13,371,734.
“Which represents 17.34 percent of our 70 percent targeted population and also 12.13 for total population po natin,” Galvez said.
