Female NPA member yields to Borongan cops
ORMOC CITY — A woman operating in the hinterlands of Eastern Samar surrendered to the police in Borongan City, Eastern Samar on Tuesday, August 24.
Titang, 53, was an active member of the New People’s Army, according to Police Lt. Col Romeo Santander, chief of the Borongan City Police Station.
Titang also surrendered a .38 snub-nose revolver with three live ammunition.
The local police are conducting proper documentation so the surrenderee can avail of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-Clip) of the government.
