22 suspects arrested in series of drug busts, anti-crime ops in QC
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 22 drug suspects were arrested in separate anti-drug and anti-crime operations in Quezon City.
In a report on Wednesday, the Quezon City Police District said three suspects were arrested at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Barangay (village) Sto. Domingo after authorities received information of ongoing drug trade in the area.
Police said they found the suspects gambling and upon frisking, each of them yielded a sachet of crystal meth or “shabu.”
Police identified the suspects as Eduardo Gonzales Jr., 31; Mark Anthony Antido, 31; Michael Gumarag, 28.
Meanwhile, 19 suspects were also arrested in different anti-illegal drug operations on Monday night. Police also seized several grams of shabu and marijuana from the suspects.
