MANILA, Philippines —The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will continue to bring rain to the Bicol Region, Calabarzon, Mimaropa and the Visayas in the next 24 hours, according to the state weather agency on Tuesday.
During the afternoon and evening, the weather will be fairer in Luzon, including Metro Manila.
(Rains are still expected in the Bicol Region and large parts of Calabarzon and the entire Mimaropa, including the Kalayaan Islands, due to the effects of the ITCZ.)
(Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will experience sunnier weather but will still experience rain and a higher chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.)
Rains caused by the ITCZ will persist throughout the Visayas as well.
While the weather will be fairer in Mindanao, thunderstorms will likely occur during the afternoon and evening hours.
