Man allegedly stabbed to death by brother in Ilocos Sur
BAGUIO CITY––A man quarreling with his wife allegedly stabbed and killed his younger brother, who tried to intervene, police in Lidlidda town in Ilocos Sur said on Sunday, Aug. 22.
Investigators identified the victim as Archie Tudayan Eusebio, 30, and the suspect as Raymund Eusebio, 33, both residents of Barangay Suysuyan.
The police said the brothers and some other men were having a drinking spree, when Raymund left to accompany his wife to a nearby river around 6 p.m.
Raymund and his wife later argued, prompting Archie to pacify the couple. But Raymund reportedly took a knife and stabbed his younger brother in the chest, investigators said.
The police said the victim was taken to Candon City Hospital and died while being treated.
The suspect was immediately arrested and placed in police custody.
