Quezon drug suspect nabbed with P278K marijuana

California police arrest two suspected of fatally shooting 6-year-old

 

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a drug suspect and seized over P278,000 worth of marijuana in Candelaria, Quezon on Sunday night.

Police Colonel Joel Villanuena, Quezon police chief, reported that Eric De Luna, 39, was arrested after he sold a pack of dried marijuana leaves to an undercover agent at the town center at around 9:30 p.m.

Authorities confiscated 26 sachets of marijuana leaves with an estimated street value of P278,000 The suspect was also found carrying three plastic pots of alleged marijuana plants.

The suspect was detained and will face a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
