Pagasa Monday weather forecast: Cloudy skies, isolated rain showers nationwide
MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or “habagat”,will prevail over the western sections of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported on Monday.
“Habagat pa rin ang umiiral ngayon sa kanlurang bahagi ng Southern Luzon, Visayas, at ng Mindanao,” Pagasa weather specialist Loriedin De La Cruz said.
(The southwest monsoon or habagat will prevail in the western parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.)
The said weather system will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Isang, which exited the Philippine area of responsibility Sunday, was spotted 785 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes as of 3 a.m.
