MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) on Saturday announced the suspension of service disconnection operations for accounts with unsettled balances in areas under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
“NO DISCONNECTION pa rin for customers with unpaid bills sa MECQ areas,” Meralco announced in a Facebook post.
It likewise updated its business center hours in Metro Manila and Laguna during MECQ from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on Monday to Fridays, and 7:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturdays.
Metro Manila and Laguna are under MECQ until August 31.
