Opinionology nails first win in E-League hoop

FORMER champion Opinionology flashed its old form to finally barge into the win column after four losses with a 56-52 victory over the Accenture Sharks last Sunday in the 2011 Powerade E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.

Renejohn Lacsamana scored 13 points, John Denver Rivera added 12 points and nine rebounds as Opinionology (formerly Western Wats) held the Sharks to just two points in the second period to turn a 10-18 deficit to a 25-20 halftime lead.

Randy Bihag scattered a game-high 20 points with 11 rebounds for the Sharks, who tasted their second loss in five games.

In the other game, the JP Morgan and Chase and Co. Bankers bagged their second victory in four games by downing winless Kyocera Frontiers, 48-34 with Petronillo Blanco scoring 12 points.

Eliot Emerson Uy finished with 12 markers for the Frontiers, who remain winless after three battles.
