31,724 nabbed for health protocol violations in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY––A total of 31,724 persons have been arrested in Bacolod City for violating COVID-19 health protocols from Jan. 1 to Aug. 15 this year.

Data from the Emergency Operations Center on Wednesday, Aug. 18, showed that the bulk of those arrested was due to the failure to use face masks at 10,521.

Those arrested for violation of curfew reached 7,358 individuals, followed by not wearing face shields (7,006), defying the liquor ban (3,728), and non-observance of physical distancing (3,111).
