365,000 government-procured Pfizer vaccines arrive in PH

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 365,040 doses of US-made Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine procured by the government arrived in the Philippines on Wednesday night.

A total of 313,560 doses arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 3 at around 8:50 p.m., while 51,480 doses were earlier unloaded in Cebu province at 6:36 p.m.

Another 51,480 doses, meanwhile, will be sent to Davao province on Thursday morning, the National Task Force against COVID-19 said.

As of August 15, the Philippine government has administered over 27.8 million COVID-19 doses, of which 15.2 million are first doses while 12.5 million are second doses.
