SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—A suspected drug peddler and a wanted person were arrested in the province in separate police operations, authorities said on Tuesday (Aug. 17).
The drug suspect was identified as Sanjay Datoon, 23, a resident of Barangay Calapacuan in Subic town.
Investigators said Datoon, who was on the police’s drug watch list, yielded 1.3 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in San Marcelino town.
The other suspect identified as Dexter Raquipiso, who is facing domestic violence charges, was arrested in Subic.
Police served an arrest warrant against Raquipiso that was issued by a local court in Olongapo City.
Investigators said Raquipiso, a resident of Subic, has been hiding from authorities for seven years until his arrest.
