Woman dead in jeep robbery

A 41-YEAR-OLD woman was shot dead when she refused to give her bag to robbers inside a jeepney late Thursday afternoon on Roosevelt Avenue, Quezon City. Police said Marilyn Chua of Rodriguez (formerly Montalban), Rizal, was shot in the chest and was declared dead on arrival at St. Agnes Hospital. One of the three suspects, Jhon Canawin, 22, was arrested by barangay officials who responded upon hearing the gunshot. Nancy C. Carvajal
