8 drug suspects nabbed in Naga City
LEGAZPI CITY––Anti-narcotics police arrested eight suspected drug pushers and confiscated at least P46,600 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations Monday and Tuesday in Naga City in Camarines Sur province.
Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Michelle Garganta, 26, and his live-in partner Jhojie Indalici, 27, both of Canaman town, were arrested around 9 p.m. Monday in Barangay Calauag.
The anti-narcotics team recovered four sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,000.
About 10 minutes later, Ryan Banaag, 33; Donald dela Cruz, 39; Arjon Perillo, 18; and Archie Rosales, 42, were arrested in a separate operation in Barangay Tinago. Banaag was on the illegal drugs watch list.
Confiscated during the operation were five grams of shabu worth P15,000.
Richmond Evangelista, 44, also on the watch list, was arrested around 3 p.m. in Barangay Balatas. At least two grams of shabu worth P13,600 were recovered from Evangelista.
Article continues after this advertisementOn Tuesday, Amelia Cuaño, 54, was arrested in Barangay Peñafrancia at 12:25 a.m. Police recovered five grams of shabu worth P15,000 from Cuaño, who was on the illegal drugs watch list.
