ANGELES CITY––At least 13,116 or 86 percent of the 15,250 police officers in Central Luzon have been vaccinated against COVID-19, with 6,840 or almost 45 percent of them fully vaccinated.
Among the fully inoculated are 1,922 injected with the single-dose Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine, the regional police health service announced on Monday, Aug. 16.
The other 8,410 received their first dose of Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, or Sputnik V vaccines.
The fully inoculated police officers include 6,414 from the regional police and 426 from support units.
The Regional Dental and Medical Unit 3 (RDMU3) administered vaccines to some 1,951 police officers, while the local governments injected 11,165 assigned to their areas.
From Aug. 12 to 14, the RDMU3 vaccinated some 1,500 police officers and their dependents at Camp Julian Olivas in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
