MANILA, Philippines — Several flights were cancelled on Monday due to a volcanic eruption in Japan.
In a flight advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority said the following flights have been cancelled as of 7 a.m.:
Philippine Airlines
- PR 427 Narita-Manila
- PR 437 Nagoya-Manila
- PR 411 Kansai-Manila
- PR 421 Haneda-Manila
- PR 425 Fukuoka-Manila
- PR 426 Manila-Fukuoka
In a separate advisory, the Philippine Airlines said the flight cancellations were due to “ash emissions from the Fukutoku-Okanoba volcano located some 1,000 kilometers south of Tokyo.”
It added that affected passengers may rebook their flight to a later date, convert their ticket to a travel voucher or refund their ticket.
