Quezon drug suspect busted, over P500K shabu seized

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a drug suspect and recovered some P524,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Pagbilao, Quezon before midnight on Saturday.

Police Colonel Joel Villanueva, Quezon police chief, reported that anti-illegal drug operatives busted Micaela Vianca Marie Alba, 29, after she sold a pack of shabu to an undercover police officer in a subdivision in Barangay Mayhay at around 11:15 p.m.

Authorities seized seven sachets of shabu weighing 25.75 grams with an estimated street value of P524,280.

Alba, authorities said, is a resident of Lucena City and is a “newly identified” drug pusher.

Alba is facing a formal complaint for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
