MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolted Tarragona, Davao Oriental on Saturday morning, the state volcanologists reported.
The earthquake, which occurred at 3:00 a.m., had a depth of 7 kilometers and is tectonic in origin, according to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

The Saturday morning earthquake, Phivolcs said, was an aftershock of the magnitude 7.1 earthquake that struck Governor Generoso town on Thursday, August 12.
